HSC Asset Managers are expected to oversee all aspects of our clients’ properties, including:
- Development and implementation of an annual budget for each property, in conjunction with client input.
- Monthly financial statements, including a budget variance report.
- Optimization of rental rates and the achievement of monthly rent level goals.
- Evaluation of assessed property tax values and, if necessary, coordination of the appeals process.
- Coordination of special projects, such as exterior painting and structural repairs, including review of bids and invoices.
- Management of cost-effective marketing programs.
- Weekly site visits and inspections of each property and a tour of vacant units, buildings, and grounds.
- Continual leadership, support and motivation of on-site team members.
- Knowledge about current legal issues facing the multi-family housing industry, such as Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws, as well as industry trends.
